SHIPPING INFORMATION 

I currently ship to United States only. Prices are shown in USD. Orders ship directly from my studio in Arizona. Your artwork will be shipped via Federal Express ground delivery unless you require priority shipment. I will notify you as soon as your order ships and will provide a tracking number. I will also communicate any changes and/or updates regarding the delivery of your package. Once your artwork arrives, please be sure to carefully unpack as to not damage the contents of the artwork. Handling and hanging instructions will be included in your shipment.

 

PROCESSING TIME
I will make every effort to process your order immediately. Processing time is usually within 2-5 business days for original paintings in stock. If prints are ordered, they usually require a few more days as these are created individually.

Once your order ships, I will contact you with tracking information. For rush orders please contact me and I’ll see what I can do to meet your needs.

 

REFUNDS, EXCHANGES & RETURNS 

I hope you’ll be completely satisfied with your purchase. I personally inspect and ensure the quality of every artwork before it is signed and shipped. Each purchase is professionally packaged in a box or shipping crate. In most cases your purchase will ship via Federal Express with required delivery signature. If free shipping applies to your order, shipping insurance will be included. If you have any concerns or questions please contact me before purchasing.

ORIGINAL PAINTINGS:
All sales are final on original artworks and I can’t accept returns.
PRINTS:

All prints are created to order according to your individual requirements such as chosen image, size and material and as such your purchase is considered a custom order and non-returnable. Once an order has gone to print it cannot be canceled, changed or refunded. Prints are considered a special order and may take bewtween 7-10 days to arrive.

LOSS OR DAMAGE THROUGH SHIPPING:

As soon as your order ships, I will advise you by email and give you the tracking details and an expected delivery date. Shipping and insurance is free within the United States with the exception of oversized paintings. I usually use Federal Express or UPS. Should any delays, damage or loss occur during shipping, I will work on your behalf to try to resolve the situation.

 

Please check your delivery address and make sure your artwork can be delivered safely at your home or business. Please note, buyers are responsible once delivery has been made. I hold no responsibility for lost or stolen orders at the delivery point.

On rare occasions damage can occur through handling by the shipping company.  Items can also be lost or stolen at the delivery point. If the procedures listed below are followed, both you and I have a much better chance of follow up action with the shipping company:

​

1. Don't permit the courier to leave your parcel unattended if you're not there to personally receive it.

​

2. If you can't be there to receive your order, please arrange to pick up the parcel in person from the shipping company.

​

3. Before accepting and signing for the shipment, please check the outside packaging for damage.

​

4. If there's any sign of damage either (a) refuse delivery or (b) open the package in the presence of the delivery person and check the contents in front of them.

​

5. If the artwork inside is damaged, refuse the delivery and if possible take photos for evidence. If these responsibilities are not met at your end, I will be unable to assist you. 

 

Please be understanding when contacting me about loss or damage during transit as I have no control over the treatment of your package by the courier services. It is just as distressing for me to know your package has been damaged, lost or stolen as it is for you.

 

OTHER SHIPPING EVENTS:

If your order is returned to me by the delivery service due to an incorrect address provided by the buyer, the buyer's refusal to accept the order or because no one was home to accept delivery, the following will apply:

1. When the delivery service returns the unclaimed, unwanted or refused order, the cost of the order will be refunded less a non-refundable 25% handling fee.

​

2. Any and all original shipping and return shipping costs will not be refunded (if applicable, normally I cover the cost of shipping with any orders within the United States except oversized paintings).

 

RETURNS UNDER EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES:

In certain circumstances I may accept a return and the following conditions will apply:

Orders accepted for return or exchange are required to be shipped back within 7 days of receipt. Please notify me first within 3 days of receipt either by email at lauribahde@gmail.com. Artworks must be returned in the original condition and in the original packaging. I cannot provide you a refund for artwork that has been damaged in transit back to the studio due to poor packaging. After inspection to ensure all items are in perfect condition and not damaged in any way, a refund or exchange will be made. Any taxes and duties your local customs office may have charged for the shipment when entering your country will not be reimbursed. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. For orders that include Free Shipping, orders will be refunded less the actual cost to package and ship the original order.

 

COLOR ACCURACY:

When selecting prints and paintings please note that all computer monitors will show colors a little differently and there may be a slight variation from the colors you see on your screen to the actual version. If you are in doubt, please check the colors on multiple monitors to make sure before purchasing. If you have any concerns or questions about color clarification, please email me at lauribahde@gmail.com. I would be happy to provide a short product video of any painting you are interested in purchasing.

COPYRIGHT:

All artwork and content on the LAURI BAHDE ART website is legally protected by U.S. & International copyright laws. Images may be used for personal use, as in screen savers, or printed out for household decor, but under NO circumstance is it permitted for you to use them for commercial purposes,  without proper and prior permission from Lauri Bahde, or her legal advisers.  Unauthorized duplication or usage for commercial purposes is prohibited by the Copyright law and will be prosecuted.

 

We protect our copyright interests. Lauri Bahde retains all of the copyrights to all artwork on this site, regardless of having sold the original image.  You must contact her or her legal advisors in order to use an image for commercial purposes, whether or not you now own the original artwork.
